Whitney Larson

I attended Arizona State University for my undergrad, where I received an incredibly prestigious and useful dual BA in Women & Gender Studies and English. I have a minor in Spanish, but it’s just decoration.

During my undergrad, I co-founded a sexual violence prevention group, helped organize take back the night marches, tabled against domestic violence, and ultimately was a buzz kill at parties. I was also a board member of the Hispanic Business Student’s Association, where I developed one hell of a handshake.

A suspected mild hero complex led to me applying to law school. Having loved ASU so much, I stayed for my JD. During law school, I volunteered for the domestic violence hotline and graduated with a pro bono distinction. I began practicing personal injury in May 2018 and immediately fell in love with being able to help people in such an immediate way.

Because I clearly hate free time or perhaps I like having a solid excuse for lacking a personal life, I am currently on the board for Los Abogados, the American Constitution Society, and the Phoenix Legal Action Network and was formally the secretary for the Immigration Executive Counsel to the State Bar, as well as the Immigration Bar Liaison for the Young Lawyers Division.

When I’m not working or volunteering, I can be found cooking, eating, or running for about two minutes and walking the rest of the way.
